Arriving from Budapest in evening at London Gatwick.

Wednesday, April 02
The bus leaves at 6:00am for early morning departure from London to catch the ferry from Dover to Calais in France.

Thursday, April 03
Exploring Paris. The Notre Dame Cathedral, the Georges Pompidou Centre, the Louvre and the impressive Musee D’Orsay. Tonight, a picnic dinner under the Eiffel Tower, and a visit the oldest Cabaret in Paris, ‘Paradis Latin’.

Friday, April 04
I say farewell to Paris and travel through the French countryside on my way to Switzerland. After the border formalities, I head on to my accommodation at Lauterbrunnen, a tiny village at the base of the famous Jungfrau and Schilthorn mountains.

Saturday, April 05
Today is my trip up the awesome, snow covered, 4000m high Jungfrau mountain by railway. Here, I can view the Ice Palace, and mabye go glacial snowboarding. Then I’ll mountain bike to the famous Trummelbach Falls.

Sunday, April 06
I travel via the historic city of Pisa, with plenty of time to see the famous leaning tower, before heading to a Tuscan Hills Resort for the night.

Monday, April 07
During the morning walking tour of this beautiful city with my guide, I’ll see the Ponte Vecchio, Duomo Cathedral, Uffizi Gallery and Santa Croce - burial place of Michelangelo. This afternoon I will travel on to Rome, home of the Vatican City, St Peter’s Cathedral, and the Colosseum. The walking tour will take me to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Ancient Roman Forum, the massive Victor Emmanuel Monument and the Colosseum.

Tuesday, April 08
This morning, a visit to the Vatican will allow me the opportunity to see one of the finest works of art in the world - the paintings in the Sistine Chapel. In the afternoon I will spend time visiting Rome’s ancient monuments.

Wednesday, April 09
Today I head north through Tuscany and over the Apennine mountains to Venice, stopping on the way to visit ancient Verona, where Romeo and Juliet played out their love affair. My walking tour will take me to see the Roman Forum. During the afternoon I travel on to Venice.

Thursday, April 10
Today I will travel by motorboat along the Grand Canal. Then take a walking tour to see the bustling St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, Doges Palace, the Campanile and Rialto Bridge. Of course, no trip to Venice would be complete without a ride through the canals in a gondola.

Friday, April 11
Today I travel to the beautiful Tyrol Region of Austria. I will have the opportunity to try activities such as Tandem para gliding or Mountain Biking.

Saturday, April 12
Next I head to the picturesque Rhine Valley and a 12th Century Castle overlooking the Rhine River. I’ll take a cruise down the Rhine River and see the many medieval castles on the hilltops, and the many terraces of grape vines.

Sunday, April 13
Today I head to Amsterdam, the party capital of Holland. Tonight will be spent in the famous Red Light District.

Monday, April 14
This morning I will have a bicycle ride followed by a walking tour seeing the sights of Dam Square and the Royal Palace. There is then plenty of time to visit Anne Frank’s House or the Rijks and Van Gogh Museums. Then its the ‘Heineken Experience’ in the original Heineken Brewery and a trip through the canals on a canal cruise tonight.

Tuesday, April 15
I depart from Amsterdam and travel to Brugge in Belgium. Then it’s off towards Calais where the cross-channel ferry takes me back to the White Cliffs of Dover. I get back to London from the tour in the evening.

Wednesday, April 16
I leave for home on Zoom flight #311 departing at 13:15 at London Gatwick South.
